This week is the 49th annual National Emergency Medical Services Week. While Dane County celebrates the efforts of first responders, it takes special pride in the most recent data on cardiac arrest survival rates. Officials are crediting the county’s outstanding statistics with local efforts to increase bystander intervention. They are now encouraging even more community involvement in the future so that Dane County’s medical outcomes continue to improve.
