Twelve Madison Metro buses will soon have “TEST BUS” emblazoned on their sides.
That’s because they’re testing new, real-time tracking information to improve communication with riders. And transit officials say they expect the tracking software to be implemented in all city buses in the coming months.
Mick Rusch, Metro’s chief development officer, and Jessy Stammer, Metro’s Marketing and Customer Service manager, told our News Producer Faye Parks today that they’re relying on riders' feedback to improve the software.
