Last week, Governor Tony Evers signed the state’s 2023-2025 budget, ending a months-long political battle between the Democratic Governor and the Republican-led Legislature.
And while that budget came with liberal uses of Governor Evers’ veto pen, the budget looks drastically different from what was put forward by Evers earlier this year.
WORT Producer Nate Wegehaupt took a look at what all was not included in the final budget signed last week.
