As sea levels rise, shorelines recede, and islands disappear, atlas are going to have to reflect the new reality. In her new book Sea Change: An Atlas of Islands in a Rising Ocean, Dr. Christina Gerhardt weaves together essays, maps, and poetry to put islands in the center of the conversation.
