Description

A 2018 study of gun ownership around the globe found that the United States outnumbers the world in gun ownership per capita, with about 120 civilian-owned guns per 100 people.

That study, from the Small Arms Survey in Geneva, estimated that the 393 million guns owned by civilians in the US accounted for almost 40 percent of the world's firearms.

So what do you do with a gun that you just don't want anymore? State lawmakers are proposing one solution.
