The IWW 1913 Rubberworkers strike in Akron, Ohio, which spontaneously strike started on February 11th, 1913.The strike spread quickly, including sixteen thousand of the twenty two thousand rubber workers in the city. The strike was eventually lost but taught valuable lessons to the CIO organizing drive in the 30's.
