This Saturday, November 29th is the anniversary of the Battle of Seattle of 1999, when forty thousand protesters shut down the World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in downtown Seattle. The protesters represented a broad coalition of unionist, environmentalists, students, and church goers concerned over global south debt.
