The Dane County Sheriff’s Department began using automated license plate readers in a pilot study last April, and is only one of over fifty law enforcement agencies that use such technology in Wisconsin. W-O-R-T reporter Christopher Cartwright investigated the developing surveillance infrastructure across the state.
