Description

Gerald Mohr returns as Philip Marlowe, Private Investigator in another episode from this radio series based on novels by Raymond Chandler. The series began in 1947 with Van Heflin played Marlowe, but Raymond Chandler did not like the portrayal and objected to Heflin playing the role. Gerald Mohr took over in 1948 and remained as Philip Marlowe until 1951. The series was syndicated on CBS and NBC and Directed by Norman Macdonnell. Mohr had the perfect voice and cadence for this "pull no punches" private eye! This episode is the "Uneasy Head" from June 6, 1950. Thanks for listening. Also heard on Itunes and Google Play Music.
