Audio intro gives brief background on the "Biography in Sound" series heard on NBC from 1954-58. Critically acclaimed as "radio at its excellence" ... the programs had extremely high production values in terms of quality vocal recording, music, radio adaptation that was fully researched for historical accuracy, etc. There are many history books about Theodore Roosevelt and documentary films also are available (ala Ken Burns on PBS), but this was a radio documentary and, if you are a history buff... you will enjoy it.
