"The Neediest Case" doesn't necessarily refer to a medical condition in this story. In this episode of Dr. Christian... in the small town of "River's End"... Dr. Christian discovers an elderly woman who is living in total poverty, and he works his magic to offer her a much better quality of life while allowing her to maintain her dignity.
