In 1963 Erik Bauersfeld who was the Director of Berkley's Drama and Literature Dept of radio station KPFA-FM for 31 years, produced a horror program called "Black Mass" or "The Black Mass" Often featuring radio adaptations from famous horror/suspense writers... they were superbly done. Bauersfeld played many of the roles and in this track "Nightmare" is the only actor, but his vocal talents were tremendous and the energy that he put into his performances rivaled that of Peter Lorre.
