Bill Forman was the longest running "Whistler" but Gale Gordon (Our Miss Brooks' Mr. Conklin), Joseph Kearns and Marvin Miller (TV's Michael Anthony on "The Millionaire") Cast also included Betty Lou Gerson, Hans Conried, Cathy Lewis, Elliot Lewis, Lurene Tuttle, and Jack (Dragnet) Webb.
