Dr. Herb Janick was a longtime professor who influenced students and colleagues at WestConn -- and countless people in the community. He was a kind and gentle man with a soaring intellect. He was a standard-bearer in the university’s heralded History Department who employed ingenious techniques to teach every student the value of the past.
