Brighton-based producer Silloh, real name Hugo Hollis,
returns to Soulvent with a bass-heavy 2-track single in the
form of ‘The Conqueror’. Initially releasing on the first edition
of our ‘Tonics’ series back in May, Hugo’s productions are
beginning to garner support from some well-respected
tastemakers including the much-loved Break, who released
Silloh’s second release on his own Symmetry Recordings with
‘Fields of Green’.
Opener ‘The Conqueror’ stakes its claim with playful pops of
tuned percussion and big drums setting the tone. Robotic,
processed vocals take centre stage leading in a sense of
dread while the drop ushers in menacing sonics for a truly
deep, dark and gully experience on this heavy-duty creeper.
