WHAT ARE THE RIGHTS OF PATIENTS AND DOCTORS
Richard E. Ralston joins the program to discuss why medical care should be a free exchange between patient and doctor. Does the government have a role in determining who should receive healthcare and is there a ‘right’ to medical care. How much control should individuals have over their own medical care and how much should be directed by Washington, D.C. What is the difference between medical coverage and actual medical care. Do the good intentions of a government program trump the outcomes of the same program? Also discussed are the origins of third-party payers.

Mr. Ralston has been Executive Director of Americans for Free Choice in Medicine since joining the part-time staff of AFCM in 2002.
