Still in my 2am Led Zeppelin state of mind, this song is titled "For Her". Who's "Her" you ask? Well you'll just have to wonder about that. Maybe it's "YOU"!! Who knows right?!
On the musical side of things "For Her" is a Jazzy Blues guitar instrumental piece that I loosely based on the Zeppelin classic "Since I've been Loving You" from Led Zeppelin III.
This song was mixed in the traditional early Zep style of wide stereo with the rhythms all sort of pushed to the right a bit, and the lead guitar parts off to the left. This is a cool stereo effect which I might add aids in the ability to really hear the leads. This mixing style was always helpful to me as a kid when I was trying to figure out Page's riffs and phrasings.
