They welcome back George Vass into the studio to talk about the Bushey Symphony Orchestra concert on Sunday 18th January at 3pm Clarendon Muse, Watford. George is a renowned British composer, conductor and percussionist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music and has worked with some of the top UK orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. George has been the Artistic Director of the Presteigne Festival since 1992 and has been the Music Director of the Bushey Symphony Orchestra since 1985.

Vivaldi: The Four Seasons Concerto in F minor Winter 1st movement Allegro non molto –a seasonal piece
Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake Czardas – one of his most famous ballets written 15 years before the Nutcracker
Schubert: Symphony No 3 in D major 4th movement Presto vivace – a lively piece from a symphony written over 3 months when Franz Schubert was just 18 years old
Shostakovich: Jazz Suite No 2 Waltz 2 – a beautiful waltz from this 20th Russian composer and pianist
