Again, my vibe this week is chronicling the progression of black women from slavery to current day. Day/Verse 24 (produced by Quay Bailey) I get into the “Recontruction” period a bit.. A time when black women sought to reclaim their body and image after centuries of rape and sexual abuse from their overseers and masters. I also explored the impact that segregation had on the relationship between black men and women.
