Glenn's back. We can't tell you whether that's a good thing or not-but he's back. He doesn't much want to talk about the Orioles (who does?) and he still can't seem to get a straight answer about whether Lamar Jackson is going to line up at other positions this season. Maybe? Also, we know it's a good thing that North America is getting the World Cup in 2026 because Baltimore is going to be involved-but to what extent? Will the garbage public transportation system prevent Baltimore from getting World Cup matches? It's #WouldYouRatherWednesday-would you be willing to be Trump's personal poop handler for a year if it guaranteed the Orioles would be competitive for the rest of your life? At the top of Hour 2, Orioles Hall of Famer Rich Dauer joined the show. You may remember that after winning the World Series as a coach with the Houston Astros, Dauer collapsed at the World Series parade and nearly died. Now Astros manager AJ Hinch has invited him to be a part of the All-Star Game staff for the American League, his first career trip to the All-Star Game so we discussed that with him and just the entire incredible story. And at the bottom of Hour 2 Maryland soccer coach Sasho Cirovski joined us to preview the start of the World Cup tomorrow and to discuss his former goalie Zack Steffen-who may well be the USMNT goalie of the future.
