Happy Monday! It was quite the weekend for Orioles rumors and we tried to address them all at the top of the show. About 20 minutes in, Baltimore Sun columnist Peter Schmuck joined us to discuss his story-addressing rumors that the Orioles could end up relocating in a few years if the MASN dispute doesn't go their way. After that, MLB Network/FanRag Sports reporter Jon Heyman joined us to discuss his report from the weekend shooting down rumors that Billy Ripken, Mike Bordick or Rick Dempsey could end up replacing Buck Showalter. But with that in mind, near the end of Hour 1 we welcomed Bordick to the show to talk about that report and his potential interest in being a manager as well as Chris Davis' return to the lineup, the possibility that Adam Jones could be dealt but then return (like he was in 2000) and if the struggles of the team as a whole are making things look worse for players like Trey Mancini and Jonathan Schoop. In Hour 2, our pal Ken Zalis from PressBox stopped by the studio to talk about the Orioles rumors and whether the Ravens should/will use Lamar Jackson in a Kordell Stewart-type role and more.
