Very busy Tuesday edition of GCR. We kicked off by discussing Glenn's exclusive story for PressBox yesterday about Ralph Friedgen finally returning to Maryland this week. The consensus response seems to be appreciation for DJ Durkin making the reunion possible. Early in the 10am hour, PressBox's chief grand poobah Stan "The Fan" Charles joined us in studio for another round of "Five Words Or Less," discussing sports figures like Friedgen, Allen Robinson, Alex Cobb and more. At the top of the 11am hour, we reacted to the news that the Jaguars officially will NOT use the franchise tag on Robinson-which is good news for the Baltimore Ravens. Then we were joined by Ravens free agent TE Benjamin Watson, who will be in town Saturday for the Ed Block Courage Awards. He told us about his hopes for free agency, why he's still playing at 37, Joe Flacco and why he won't "shut up and dribble." At the bottom of the hour, Glenn reacted to Daniel Jeremiah's new mock draft for NFL Network-where he has the Ravens taking Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield. At the end of Hour 2, UMBC basketball coach Ryan Odom joined us to preview tonight's semifinal showdown against Hartford in the America East Tournament. And we wrapped the show with an in-studio visit from PressBox Terps beat reporter Luke Jackson, who discussed the start of spring football.
