Happy Tuesday! The Orioles won...but there's not really much to say about that. If you're not a Capitals "fan" per se, are you rooting for them this postseason? We discussed this and much more to start the show. At the bottom of Hour 1 we got into a lengthy conversation with former Ravens (and Steelers, yes) QB Kordell Stewart regarding the path for Lamar Jackson. Some fans/analysts think the Ravens should try to use Jackson's speed and skills in a manner similar to how the Steelers used Stewart at the beginning of his career-the "Slash" role. What does Kordell think? This was a lengthy, eye-opening chat and Stewart also shared some memories of Ray Lewis ahead of Ray going into the Hall of Fame. At the top of Hour 2, PressBox's chief grand poobah Stan "The Fan" Charles joined us in studio for a broken round of "Five Words Or Less." We discussed a number of sports topics-including LeBron James' dominance, Manny Machado potentially going to the Cubs and Adam Jones buying Cal Ripken's house. But during the hour we were also joined by former MLB GM/SiriusXM host and The Athletic writer Jim Bowden to discuss his story labeling the Cubs as 3-1 favorites to land Machado at the deadline. Plus he offered some news regarding the status of the Orioles' front office. And later in the hour Bruce Levine from The Score in Chicago checked in to discuss Machado being in Chicago this week, what Addison Russell would be as a potential piece of a Machado deal and much more.
