Very busy Thursday edition of GCR-so much to do! We start by bringing back an old segment, "Best Things." It's our trip to the audio vault for the week. A former MLB manager goes after an umpire, Rick Reilly confuses Justin Thomas and Shohei Otani can do it all-including sing! Early in the hour we got into this week's college and NFL picks against the spread, including the Ravens -3.5 against the Steelers. Late in the hour, The Athletic's Patrick Stevens checked in to discuss Maryland's bounce back effort against Minnesota and what we still have to learn in the Jordan McNair situation. Plus-can he name all of the teams Andres Gallaraga and Kevin Brown played for? At the top of Hour 2, PressBox fantasy football expert Ken Zalis checked in to help us set our Week 4 fantasy lineups. Should we be scrambling to pick up Christian Kirk? Later in Hour 2, we continued our Ravens/Steelers week discussion as the great Derrick Mason checked in-he also shared his thoughts on Joe Flacco's season with new receivers and how the Ravens are using Lamar Jackson, then former Steelers QB Tommy Maddox joined us to talk about his own Ravens/Steelers memories (including a career altering injury) and his thoughts on the roughing the passer calls.
