This is an EP of sound art pieces that I composed the last couple of months while attending Denison University. It is an experimental project composed of majority audio recorded sounds using a Marantz recorder, a condenser mic, a few MIDI sounds here and there. While studying Sound Art and Installation as a Studio Art major, I have crossed multiple mediums. Some of these tracks were composed live in large spaces, products of sound performance installations, used in a Dance research performance, sound recordings of cooking, human chatter, accidental clips/peaks and miscellaneous everyday life activities. The overall quality of sound is not the best purposefully and keeps its natural recorded minimalist essence. Using these sounds to construct rhythms were challenging but rewarding. Get yourself a nice pair of on or over-the-ear headphones and enjoy.
