South African kwaito musician Mduduzi ‘Mandoza’ Tshabalala died earlier today.
His family has confirmed that he lost his battle to cancer, about a year after he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The 38-year-old was admitted to hospital a week ago, with his family later confirming that he was home and in a stable condition.
He’s known for his hits including Nkalakatha which crossed over all races in South Africa.
Last week, he performed at the controversial #ThankYouSABC concert at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
