It was a busy day over at the Peaine Township Hall yesterday. First, at ten in the morning, there was a very hastily called special meeting of the Peaine Township Board called to deal with the failure of the Charlevoix County Clerk to receive the townships millage proposal for the November election to fund EMS. The next meeting was the Emergency Services Authority meeting at two in the afternoon. Once again the room was full of interested residents and among them was WVBI’s Kevin Boyle who has this report.
