Description

Here's a weird one, and another one made for the global game jam, this time in 2021. Me and two friends worked on a artsy walking simulator where the content in the world and the overall tone was supposed to be weird, trippy, creepy, and bittersweet. So this music has all of those qualities, and a lot of dissonant harmonies.

This piece has one persistent looping track and six other layers that fade in and out depending on where you are in the environment. And as you play the game, a ominous glowing orb eventually catches you and causes everything to fade to white. I made a mix that gives all the layers a musical progression similar to what you might hear in the game, ending with the same effects and unsettling humming that you hear when the orb reaches you.
