This is another one I started around 2008 and 2009 and just got around to finishing. It's a good companion piece to "The snow is on the ground and the stars are in the sky" (link: https://soundcloud.com/brian-kendall/the-snow-is-on-the-ground-and-the-stars-are-in-the-sky ). I came up with it around the same time, it has a similar chord progression, and there's some overlap with the theme of both songs.
I think this one was inspired by those short @boardsofcanada tracks that just explore a single musical idea for a minute or two and then fade out.
