He's shared the stage with with countless artists such as Dispatch, Trombone Shorty, the Regiment Horns, Lettuce, Vulfpeck, Kung Fu, Chadwick Stokes, Pete Francis, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds... just to name a few!
🎵 Tommy is also a big advocate for music education! He and the Funky Dawgz created their own after school brass band program for children based out of Hartford CT who want to further themselves in the arts. He often visits schools to work with their jazz bands, and with students individually in private lessons.
•Marc E. Jaffe, CEO of Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County! Since the onset of the pandemic, Marc has dedicated himself to providing critical nurturing and education for the community's young children, while also enabling their parents to go back to work. As of June 29th - seven of CLC's locations opened to serve 450 children.
•Carla Miklos, Executive Director of Operation Hope of Fairfield! Carla joined Operation Hope in 2007 and is a long-term advocate for affordable housing, homelessness prevention, and economic opportunity.
During the height of the pandemic, those in CT experiencing homelessness were hit hard. The Band Central team was deeply moved by Carla's leadership as she rose to the unfathomable challenge to figure out how to keep her staff safe AND continue the much needed services Operation Hope provides for the homeless population in Fairfield County.
