Wowie! This is a late post for What’s Happening New Haven thanks to tropical storm Isasias—no power to rev up the tech to inform interested parties-- but finally—here’s the monthly lowdown for a bit of tasty NH culture!
We shared a great conversation with the lead singer of the Alpaca Gnomes who were set to play at New Haven’s Cafe Nine on 8/18 but, of course, this is postponed. Still—great to hear how this particular band is thriving with live streams and juggling their unique creative process—keeping the red point of the Gnome hat alive and thriving!!!
On the other hand: CT Localpalooza has NOT been postponed!! We caught up with organizer Amy D’amaro who has this amazing event planned out at the bucolic Three Saints Park at the end of August! She has an incredible line up of bands and other compelling festival favorites—and it’s all in the beautiful CT outdoors!
