What’s Happening New Haven talks with Flamenco Passion, set to be performed by the Val Ramos Ensemble on 5/11 at the
New Haven’s Educational Center For The Arts/ Arts Hall. We spotlight the passion of these virtuoso players, vocalists, and dancer, Rebeca Tomas. We also catch up with Amy D'amaro, organizer for the 5th annual Localapalooza, set to happen on 5/18 over in Three Saints Park in Bethany—live music, jam tent, arts and crafts, yoga, food trucks, and more. The 2019 Carlotta Festival-- three Yale playwrights stage their productions at the Iseman Theater in NH, runs start on 5/8. Over at Club Nine, for the Elm City Folk Festival with Good Night Blue Moon and The Split Coils andRoses Wild. The Statehouse Theater welcomes Bells Atlas and the Space Ball Room brings Dirty Projectors.
