One of my favourite monologues - a story reflected in my own life and an absolute classic. After hearing a number of remixes of this kind of material that did nothing for it at all, I felt desparate to show this the love it deserves. I also added a twist to my interpretation by grafting on the Bo Diddley beat from the 1950's. It amazed me how much power this gave to the bass-line.
