This morning Tom was joined by MSF Luxembourg's Fundraising and Communications Director, Esther Leck to discuss MSF's operations in Pakistan and how they have been affected by the recent catastrophic flooding in the country.
MSF has been active in Pakistan since 1986 where they carry out important operations such as running mobile clinics, providing primary healthcare for children and treating pregnant women in obstetric hospitals. These operations have been exceptionally affected by the devastation that has be brought on by the flooding and the organization has had to refocus their efforts on dealing with the effects of the crisis and helping the population of Pakistan that have seen their homes devastated and living conditions extremely deteriorated.
Supporters of MSF can help by donating directly to the organization with €25 providing 10 people with clean water for 1 day.
