Majed returns to CZ with his second outing entitled Jute, this one follows his impressive debut Palmier which gained great support back in early Summer 2016. Majed has been perfecting his art from a young age, working on techniques and learning the ins and outs of production. Since 2001 he has wowed many dance floors with his dynamic and energetic DJ sets which led him to several successful residencies. A truly inspiring artist we're delighted to have on board here at CZ and we hope to see much more in the years ahead.
On this release we have Sunset Afro and Jute with both tracks heavily influenced by a distinct Ethnic tribal vibe. Sunset Afro dishes out a solid techno beat with a deep hypnotic bass and beautifully synchronised rhythmic percussions. Captivating melodic guitar plucks offer a worldly sound as we become embroiled in the tribal groove. Jute takes us that bit deeper with a tight techno workout featuring chunky kick drums and a fantastic low end bassline. Again we see Majed's drum arrangement skills shine as intricate patterns intertwine perfectly. This one focuses more on the vocal aspect with some very nice chants that sit nicely over the sauntering techno groove. Two top notch cuts that will not disappoint.
