Luke 2: 1 – 20 and John 1: 1 – 18. Everyone is looking for the key to life. Stephen Hawkin tells us that we are looking for a single theory that will explain everything. Other people say we need to look inside ourselves. The common theme between all views of the light, or the life, is the idea of ‘searching’. Everyone searches. In John 1 we find that the author John has found the light… the true life. The light of the world is not a concept, or an idea, it’s a person. The great joy of that person is that he is accessible.
