1 Peter 4: 1 – 11. The radio may define spiritual life as separate from the real world. In 1 Peter 4, Peter shows us that what God has done in Christ has impacted our lives in a way that shows the spiritual and real world together. The cross impacts the way we live ethically and the way we think about others. We are called to live a life away from debauchery, away from drunkenness and disorder. We are called to serve family and friends. Spiritual and real are not separate.
In this sermon, Martin looks at how the Gospel changes our lives, our thinking and our view of God. We need to know where we come from and where we can have a life that has perspective. The Christian life is a life of service and it’s challenging because it involves our lives, our wallets and our minds.
