2 Corinthians 8: 1-9: Money, money, money. It is what we feel we need to have contentment. In South Africa, a middle-class citizen is one who, at the very least, has a house, a running toilet, a tap, a stove, one phone in the house and a bed. If we’re honest, we want more then that middle-class description. We feel we’ll only be content if we have a little more than what we have. We don’t just want ‘a phone’, we want an ‘Iphone’. We don’t just want a stove, we want a ‘Bosch stove’. We don’t just want to live in Midrand, we want to live in Midstream.
