Luke 14: 25 - 35. What Defines you? What will be on your tombstone as the description of your life? When we follow Jesus, we are called to take up our cross. It’s a choice of challenge. When we do this, we give up our identity and place ourselves below our identity in Christ. This changes our identity to being ‘In Christ’.
The Challenge for us is to ‘count the cost’. Have we weighed up the cost? Do we know what’s at stake? Are we willing to pay the price? This sermon challenges us to either ‘get in’ or ‘get out’ and not be on the fence about what we believe. Harsh words we all need to hear.
