Luke 14: 12 – 24. So, what’s your excuse? When Jesus calls you, what is your response to him? In this passage, we look at Jesus’s gracious call to invite people and we also look at who the Kingdom of God is for. It’s a surprising answer for it’s not for those who have it all, but for the unexpected. The poor, the lame and the blind.
This sermon is an encouraging reminder of God’s compassion and Grace yet is also a stark reminder of what will happen to this who miss the call when Jesus bellows for them.
