Psalm 22. What would a Jo’burger say to the comment ‘We are more flawed than we could imagine and more loved by Jesus than we could ever hope’? They may agree with the later part of the comment, but not the former. Inside we think we are good and perhaps are corrupted by life. In this sermon, David looks at Psalm 22 and shows the evil nature of humanity and the grace of the Lord. It’s not a kind message, but as we listen to it, we feel the joy that should come to those who understand the message of Good Friday.
