Mark 7:14 -23. What is wrong with the world or with South Africa? Top of the list is poverty, gender based violence, Load shedding, health and infrastructure. But what do you think is wrong with South Africa, your home country or the world? If we may ask Jesus the same question, what do you think would be his response to this question? According to Jesus from Mark 7:14, the human heart is what is wrong. Jesus wants everyone to remember the truth that discipleship is not about listening to God's word and use that list to judge our performance but discipleship is about freely worshipping him not focusing on our performance or what outside us.
