Crestcom has a Performance Optimization model which looks at four key areas which leaders need to focus some time and attention. Those areas are: Identification of Purpose, Physical Health, Emotional Health, and Mindfulness.
Leadership responsibilities subject managers to higher levels of stress, and more challenging mental activities than employees who work as individual contributors. Because of this, leaders generally require more energy, and need to have greater focus in order to be successful. Each of the four areas identified in Crestcom’s Performance Optimization model are opportunities for your leaders to better prepare themselves for the challenges of their positions.
