Terry Bean has a tremendous passion for helping others get better connected to what they seek. He takes time to uncover people’s needs and leverages his network and knowledge to see them fulfilled. His early career included selling technology products and services including telecom solutions, data networks, application development and even people. It was during his first stint as a technology headhunter in Columbus, Ohio that he began to refine his innate networking skills.
He returned to the Detroit area in 2000 and began building a totally new network. His love of Detroit compelled him to create Motor City Connect in 2006. MCC was one of the first hybrid online and real world networking groups in the country. It has provided business opportunities, guidance and inspiration to 1000′s since the inception. Terry is also credited with creating the movement that celebrates March 13 as Detroit Day.
