Back in April I had the pleasure to return to Japan for the 3rd time, and it really does just keep getting better. On this trip I played in Tokyo, and then traveled North to mountains of Hakuba, where I DJ'ed an intimate party on a mountaintop for 150 dedicated dancers. I got to share the stage with 2 legendary Japanese artists : Akira Arasawa and Ground, as well as my dear friend Jo.Ke. It was a magical sunny day, and the view was simply breath taking. I played a 3 hour set with a mix of new unreleased Sol gems, deep organic tribal, a few classic favorites, and did my best to sound track such a gorgeous location. It was a moment in time I will always remember.
Much love to Ken, Dai, Jack, and the whole Japanese Kulu / Selva crew, for the most incredible hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail with every event they put on. I cannot wait to return.
