Ancient Methods was born from the union of Conrad Protzmann and Michael Wollenhaupt, two Germans dedicated to produce techno without any kind of complexes who also sign their solo works as Baeks and Trias. Eventually, and after the departure of Wollenhaupt, Protzmann decides to stay with the solo project.
His career, based on the release of several EPs, most of them on his own label of the same name, begins to atomize with collaborations on other publishing platforms such as Sonic Groove, RSB, Fondation Sonore, aufnahme + wiedergabe or Hands Productions.

Con el tiempo, y tras la marcha de Wollenhaupt, Protzmann decide quedarse con el proyecto en solitario.
