Monday 19/3/2018: Following the success of their last event, MANDEM are back to continue the discussion on masculinity.
Whilst high profile figures, from Prince William to Rio Ferdinand and Loyle Carner, have recently opened up to discuss their mental health, self-destructive masculinity remains a complex issue.
At this event we explored whether the progressive masculinity expressed by those in the limelight inherently bypasses large groups of men. How do the experiences of men in marginalised communities prohibit them from being open and vulnerable? What are the differences in the ‘male experience’ for men of colour compared to other communities?
