Elizabeth Smith is an authority on Belgrave Square in Rathmines and she has spoken on this topic to many local history societies in Dublin. She also completed a Certificate in Local History at Dublin City Library & Archive when she was the inaugural winner of the Lord Mayor’s Prize for best dissertation. She is founder of the Local History Alumni Group, also at DCLA, and this has gone from strength to strength.
