The Wake Up Call - Album Release
Jake Jon FINALLY released his DEBUT Album 'The Wake Up Call' on his birthday (5th March)
The Singer, Rapper, Songwriter and Producer described the venture as a challenging experience to say the least.
Not only does Jake's soulful voice serenade us through the issues of love, relationships and societal matters in songs like 'All we Need Is Love, Fallin For Your Love, Alone Sometime and 'What You Waiting For?'
He also lead us into the world of a young talented individual fighting the fears and hurdles that surround ambition and beautifully narrates his progress of courage through songs like 'The Wake Up Call' 'Golden Stars and 'The Arrival' which are very driven concepts. Jake say's the intro track "That's you Jake" is pretty much his pep talk to himself for when he's on stage or trying to get into entrepreneur mode.
Overall it's a very introspective unique album, a personal outlook on the world from his worldview, and a 9 song journey of overcoming and reaching towards purpose.
