Renowned Melbourne-based producer and DJ Ranjit Nijjer brings over two decades of underground techno experience to the forefront with his latest entry in the Machine Mix series — a special live recording captured on New Year’s Day 2026 at Flights of Fancy, featuring a sun-drenched selection of deep, hypnotic, organic techno.
Having been an integral part of Melbourne's techno landscape for nearly twenty years, Nijjer has left an indelible mark on the city's underground music scene. From his role as the mastermind behind the iconic club night Technoir to his regular appearances at revered techno institutions such as Machine and Melbourne Techno Collective, Nijjer's influence resonates throughout the city.
In recent years, Nijjer has solidified his position as a prolific producer, delivering seven EPs on Machine. His relentless dedication to crafting intricate soundscapes and hypnotic rhythms has garnered him widespread acclaim, both locally and internationally.
